Hanes is Way Cool for Back to School

In just a few short weeks, Dawson will be starting preschool. Surprisingly, even preschoolers have school supply lists. In addition to purchasing the required backpack, crayons and a box of Kleenex, I've also picked up a new outfit for my son's first day of school.

Thankfully, I didn't have to worry about getting socks and underwear, because the Parent Bloggers Network hooked me up with the nice folks at Hanes, who sent some great products to try from their Comfort Fit Promise line.

We received the No RideUp! Brief, Fly Will Not Gap! Boxers and the Shaped to Fit! Crew Socks and I have to be honest: the Hanes brand truly is the best.

Now that Dawson has been fully potty-trained for the last eight months, he feels more comfortable about wearing underpants during the day and a pull-up at night (to protect against the occasional accident, of course). When I asked him to try on the Hanes briefs, Dawson was very excited.

"I like my new underwears Mumma." he said. "They don't make a line on my belly."

Some of the other underpants he wears seem too tight, leaving a red mark around his waist, and on his thighs.

The Hanes Comfort Fit Promise briefs fit well on my scrawny 4-year-old. This brand doesn't cut off his circulation, but they aren't falling off of him either. These underpants have No Ride Up leg bands, so even after running around the living room for twenty minutes, Dawson's underpants stayed in place. Practically wedgie-proof!

But, the best part of the Hanes Comfort Fit Promise? (You're going to love this!) If the undies are not comfortable, you can get your money back! Too good to be true right? It's true!

Dawson wasn't too sure about the boxers, probably because we've never introduced them to him until now. He insisted on wearing them over his new underpants as shorts, and I didn't argue. The boxers were just a bit big on him, but Dawson is very skinny. I'm certain they'll fit better in a few months.

The No Gap Fly Boxers are made with soft woven cotton that breathes for airy comfort and the fabric-covered ComfortSoft® waistband won't bind, chafe or leave marks. The greatest thing about these boxers? They're TAGLESS with double-stitch trim -- high quality boxers designed to last longer than the average boxer short.

My favorite item is the crew socks. If there's one clothing item my son wears out quickly, it's socks. I can't count the many pairs of socks I've had to toss because they've worn out with holes in the toe and heel.

The Hanes Shaped to Fit! crew socks are made with plush premium yarns, with cushion in every step. Extra knit-in strech helps assure a better fit, and the smooth no-chafe toe seams are easy on my son's skin and ribbed elasticized tops stay up comfortably all day. These socks are thick, which makes me feel confident about their durability. As the mother of a very active little boy, I'm happy to know that Hanes kept comfort and quality in mind and made socks that are durable -- at least until Dawson outgrows them.

Thank you, Hanes! Your Comfort Fit Promise is amazing! And a very special thanks goes out to the Parent Bloggers Network, too.

Keep your eyes peeled for a Hanes Blog Blast at the Parent Bloggers Network on August 22nd! You could win Hanes-wear for your kids!
