Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!

As a mother of a 4-year-old who likes to watch television I often scan the channels for programs that are age appropriate and educational. Dawson loves anything on Nickelodeon, but recently his favorites have drifted from Dora and Diego to Yo Gabba Gabba! and Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!

Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!
is a whimsical, animated, preschool comedy series starring Wubbzy, and innocent, cheerful little gy who loves to play, play, play! Whether it's riding his tooter scooter, baking chocolate doodleberry cake or playing a game of kickity-kick ball, Wubbzy just wants to have fun.

Dawson is very much like Wubbzy. He loves to run and jump, ride his bike and play fun games with his preschool friends. It's no wonder he loves this show.

Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! is an Emmy award-winning series that provides kids with a positive model to teach skills such as honesty, cooperation and fairness all while having fun. Wubbzy is all about teaching by example, one of the most important ways kids learn. The show airs nearly 40 times a week on Nick, Jr. (and I swear we watch the show almost as much), and on February 3rd it's newest DVD, A Little Help From My Friends, was released.

Dawson and I had the pleasure of receiving a copy of the new DVD and my son fell in love the moment he opened the box. The DVD features six great episodes, all focused on the important values of friendship and helping others.

In one episode, Wubbzy and his Wuzzleburg pals search for a lost Wiggle Wrench, and they build a Super Robot in another. Dawson's favorite one is when they escape a runaway Doodleberry Cake. He giggles incessantly, mostly because my son's nickname is Doodlebug and he thinks the word Doodleberry is funny.

This DVD is a hit, and after watching it we went to the Wubbzy website to sign up for the "Wubb Club newsletter, read Wubbzy's blog (I knew I liked that little guy! Bloggers unite!) and listen to Wubbzy podcasts. Wow! Wow! Indeed!
