When I was pregnant with my children I never felt that I looked good. I was always worried about my weight, and I felt that all those pregnancy ailments were wrecking havoc on my hair, my skin and the rest of my body.
I really wish I had a copy of the book The Hot Mom to Be Handbook: Look and Feel Great from Bump to Baby by Jessica Denay. Denay is a blogger and founder of the online community Hot Moms Club. She believes that a hot mom is a woman who is confident and her book discusses pregnancy and motherhood from an honest perspective. Denay is not afraid to offer advice that is realistic and helpful.
She talks about a wide range of subjects, from healthy eating habits to baby showers, the best diaper bags and baby gear. I love the tone of the book. I felt like I was having a conversation with a friend instead of reading a scientific novel on all things pregnancy and baby.
Denay mixes humor with her information and even touches on the subject of piercings as she tells the reader to pass on breastfeeding if you've got a nipple ring (which I DO NOT might I add).
Overall this book is charming and funny and I appreciated all the advice and information.
Check it out at your local book store, or online if you prefer to shop over the internet.

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of HarperCollins and received a copy of The Hot Mom to Be Handbook to facilitate my review. Mom Central also sent me a gift certificate to thank me for taking the time to participate.
